This is a fifteenth century architectonic jewel that Unesco named as a "humanity cultural heritage".
Pope Pio II asked the Rossellino to create Picnza as an ideal small town and it soon became his summer residence.
You can visit the Duomo, the Palazzo Piccolomini, Pope Pio II residence and the diocesan museum.
Pienza is surrounded by the hills of Val D'Orcia, a natural and artistic park.

A health spa rich in mineral waters, it is 550 meters on sea level and offers all climate and tourism advantages.
Chianciano Terme preserved its green spa parks, public gardens, hotels and villas and it is today one of the most important spa centres in Europe.
